Passive Notification. Passive Notification: A message sent by the Company to the FCM by means of email, text, eCrew, ACARS and is acknowledged by the FCM. When the FCM is on a TFFD Day, prior to a Day the FCM has assigned Duty, the Company may notify the FCM of a cancellation or changes to the assigned Duty via Passive Notification. The FCM will acknowledge the message by 1700 local Base time.
