Common use of Passenger Elevators Clause in Contracts

Passenger Elevators. 1. Elevators will be four (gearless traction with overhead machine room) passenger elevators with group automatic operation and ADA accessible custom cabs. Interior dimensions for cabs will be 7’-8” wide x 5’-5” deep with 9’-0” minimum cab height (8’-0” finished ceiling height). Doors will be 4’-0” wide single speed, center opening with an 8’-0” height door frame. Each cab will have one car operating panel with integrated card-reader security access. 2. Passenger elevators shall have a 4000 lb. capacity and speed of 350 fpm. 3. Passenger elevators shall be designed to meet the following criteria: a. Persons per Floor: 166 b. Average Wait Time: 22.7 Seconds (max. 32 sec.) c. Time to Destination: 55.5 Seconds (max. 90 sec.) d. Handling Capacity: Minimum 11%
