Common use of Partial Withdrawals Clause in Contracts

Partial Withdrawals. Subject to any applicable restrictions under the terms of the Plan, you may elect, by written notice to us, to make a partial withdrawal from the Divisions. Partial withdrawals are subject to spousal consent rules set forth in Section 3.06. On the Transaction Date, we will pay the lesser of the Cash Value or the amount of partial withdrawal requested to the person entitled to receive such payment as designated in writing by you. If a withdrawal made under this Section would result in an Annuity Account Value of less than $500, we will so advise you and reserve the right to pay the Annuity Account Value to you, and terminate this Contract.
