Partial Leave. If the board grants a teacher a partial leave from his teaching assignment, he shall have the full rights to claim that maximum teaching assignment at the assignment meeting for the next school year. At this assignment meeting, the teacher shall not be considered displaced unless his position is not available; i.e., his position is held by a person with greater seniority or his position no longer exists.
Partial Leave. Subject to the approval of the Supervisor, an Employee may be granted a partial personal or internship leave of absence or may request to return from a personal or internship leave of absence at a reduced schedule prior to the end date of the leave. The Employee’s benefits shall be pro-rated based on the remaining hours he/she is scheduled to work. Pro-ration of benefits includes time-off accruals and eligibility and premiums for insurance benefits. At the conclusion of the leave, the Employee shall revert to his/her original schedule.

Partial Leave. Subject to the approval of the Employer, Employees may request to return from the leave at a reduced FTE status prior to the end date of the leave and shall revert to their original FTE status at the conclusion of the leave. The Employee’s benefits shall be prorated on the hours they are scheduled to work. The proration of benefits includes time-off accruals.

Partial Leave. For the same reasons listed in 21.3 and 21.6 or for other personal reasons, a faculty member may request a reduced workload with a commensurate reduction in salary. Such reduced workload will not normally extend beyond one year. For the first year, if the workload is at least half-time, health benefits shall be continued at the employer’s expense. No health benefits shall be granted if the workload is less than one-half or more than one year.

Partial Leave. Reduced Workload with Pro-Rated Salary Members shall be entitled to partial leave to a maximum of twelve (12) months at any time upon application by the Member and upon recommendation of the Department/Unit and upon approval of the Xxxx/Associate Vice-President (Student Services)/Director/University Librarian. Normally, the Member's responsibilities while on partial leave shall be reduced by at least one-third (1/3) with the exact terms of the reduction to be determined by the Member and the Chair/Library Department Head/Coordinator or Associate Vice-President (Student Services), as appropriate.
Partial Leave. REPLACEMENT 15 Regular employees of the District who request a temporary reduction in hours worked that is 16 subsequently approved by the Supervisor and the Board of Trustees shall be considered on a partial leave 17 of absence. The District may backfill the position left partially vacant with a substitute employee for up to 18 175 days in any one school year irrespective of the number of hours worked per day, including holidays, 19 sick leave, vacation, and other leaves of absence at Step A on the range of the position partially vacated.
