Common use of Partial Invalidity and Severability Clause in Contracts

Partial Invalidity and Severability. The provisions of these terms and conditions shall be subject to and apply only to the extent permitted by applicable laws and the illegality, invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these terms and conditions under the law of any jurisdiction shall not affect its legality, validity or enforceability under the law of any other jurisdiction, nor the legality, validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision, or part thereof, of this Agreement or any other document or agreement entered into between you and Deutsche Bank Group is rendered void, illegal or unenforceable it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the relevant provision or part thereof which is rendered void, illegal or unenforceable shall be deemed deleted as if it had not been part of this Agreement or such document or agreement. Any modification to or deletion of a provision or part thereof under this sub-Clause (h) shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of this Agreement or such document or agreement.
