Part-Time Flex Up. 7.7.1 For the purpose of covering additional labour requirements in peak trading periods and planned and unplanned absences, part-time employees may work additional hours beyond their core hours where average core hours are less than an average of 35 per week. 7.7.2 ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ will give preference to part-time employees in allocating additional hours, including hours that become available at short notice. ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ shall manage as much of the additional workload in peak trading times and employees’ absence by using part-time employees available to flex up. 7.7.3 A register shall be maintained by ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ of employees who notify ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ they will accept part-time flex up hours. Employees shall notify ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ of their availability to work additional flex up hours and the days and times they are available to be flexed up. Employees shall notify ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ of any changes to the times or days they are available to work flex up by the Sunday prior to the Wednesday or Thursday rosters are posted. 7.7.4 Rosters with flex up hours in them shall be posted as soon as possible before the requirement to work the additional hours. Part- time employees shall work flex up hours when they are posted on a roster unless there are exceptional circumstances that prevent them from doing so. Where such exceptional circumstances arise, permanent part-time employees shall notify ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ as soon as possible after becoming aware of them. 7.7.5 Part-time employees shall work flex up hours on short notice to cover unplanned absences unless there are specific prior commitments or other circumstances that prevent it. 7.7.6 Extra hours worked by part-time employees under this clause shall be included in the pro rata calculation of employees’ leave entitlements. 7.7.7 ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ shall pay ordinary time rates, plus penalty rates when applicable, for flexed up hours to a maximum of 44 per week and 152 per 4 weeks or 228 in a 6 week cycle. Hours in excess of these will be paid as overtime.
Part-Time Flex Up. 16.5.1 A Part-Time Team Member may agree to vary their regular pattern of work, including to work additional hours (“flex-up”) subject to the following provisions: (a) The combination of base hours and flex-up hours does not exceed forty-eight (48) hours in any week or one hundred and fifty-two (152) hours in a four (4) week roster cycle. (b) The number of shifts worked in a four (4) week roster cycle does not exceed twenty (20). (c) The number of consecutive days on which ordinary hours or flex-up hours are worked does not exceed six (6). 16.5.2 Flex-up hours are ordinary hours paid at the equivalent of the applicable Ordinary Rate, plus an additional loading of: (a) 20% (calculated on the Base Rate) on Monday to Saturday; and (b) 100% (calculated on the Base Rate) on Sunday. 16.5.3 Personal leave, annual leave, or other forms of leave entitlements (except long service leave) do not accrue on flex-up hours. 16.5.4 A Part-Time Team Member can elect to provide written standing consent to vary their regular pattern of work in order to work flex-up hours provided that such standing consent may be withdrawn by the team member at any time. (To avoid doubt, a team member who provides standing consent can still verbally refuse to work additional hours when offered on any occasion). Such a variation in writing may be made by electronic means (this will include MyColes, E-mail and SMS). 16.5.5 A record of the agreement and any variation to it (including by way of standing consent) will be retained by the Company and provided to the team member. This may be provided by electronic means as noted above.
Part-Time Flex Up. If a part time employee mutually agrees to work in excess of their contracted hours in any 2 week cycle, the part time employee will be paid their ordinary rate of pay, and accrue Leave entitlements, for any excess hours worked up to 76 hours.

The Employer agrees to review any ASF position that is less than one (1) FTE if the Association can demonstrate that the position has regularly been required to work a work period that substantially exceeds the normal work period as defined above, and adjust the FTE of the respective position as deemed appropriate by the Employer.

  • Part-Time A part-time employee is an employee who regularly works less than forty (40) hours per week. The Agency shall not use part-time employees to avoid full-time benefits.

  • Part-Time Benefits time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).
