Pandemic Management Sample Clauses
Pandemic Management. When a pandemic is declared by Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health the Employer must take all reasonable steps to protect Employees and clients and to prevent the spread of infection. To achieve this the Employer must do the following:
(a) Duty of Care Employer always has a Duty of Care to all Employees. A duty of care is the responsibility of a person or organization to avoid any behaviors or omissions that could reasonably be foreseen to cause harm to others.
(b) Protection of Employees, Clients and Partners The Employer must follow the recommendations set by the Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health.
