Common use of PALLETIZATION Clause in Contracts

PALLETIZATION. Except as otherwise specified or approved, shipments shall be on 40” x 48” - 4 way hardwood pallets, completely stretch wrapped (clear wrap only) to the pallet, and properly stacked for the commodity provided. Pallets must accommodate a standard jack and be stored correctly in the trailer upon delivery. All cases shall be fully enclosed and sealed. Pallet gross weight shall not exceed 2600 pounds and pallet height shall not exceed 54 inches. Shipments may be rejected if pallets are not properly rated and safe for the load; pallets are not tightly packed; cases are crushed and/or sagging off center; or cases that overhang the pallet.
