PAL Clause Samples

The PAL (Price Adjustment Limitation) clause sets boundaries on how much the price in a contract can be adjusted, typically in response to changes in costs or market conditions. This clause often specifies a maximum percentage or amount by which the contract price may increase or decrease, regardless of actual fluctuations in underlying costs. By capping price adjustments, the PAL clause provides predictability for both parties and protects them from excessive financial exposure due to unforeseen market volatility.

FOR BROADCAST "FULL MIX" TRACKS, TRANSIENT AUDIO PEAKS MUST NOT EXCEED +10 dB ABOVE REFERENCE TONE WHEN MEASURED ON AN AUDIO METER USING THE "TRUE PEAK" BALLISTIC SET (0 MS RISE, 200 MS FALL).
