The Page Numbering clause establishes a standardized system for numbering the pages of a document. Typically, it requires that each page be sequentially numbered, often in a consistent location such as the footer or header, and may specify the format (e.g., "Page 1 of 10"). This clause ensures that all parties can easily reference specific pages, reducing confusion and preventing disputes over document completeness or organization.
Page Numbering. All pages within a Volume shall be numbered in consecutive order and identify the Volume and Tab, if applicable (for example, “Vol. I – Tab A - page 1 of 20”). The Government may exercise its discretion in counting pages when a proposal has a page numbering ambiguity.
