Pad assemblies. 2.3.1.1. The operational coefficient of friction (Fop) is the mean of the values recorded during cycles two to seven (constant pressure method) or during cycles 2-4, 6-9 and 11-13 (constant torque method); measurement being made one second after commencing the first brake application of each cycle. 2.3.1.2. The maximum coefficient of friction (Fmax) is the highest value recorded during all cycles. 2.3.1.3. The minimum coefficient of friction (Fmin) is the lowest value recorded during all cycles.
