PACET Clause Samples
The PACET clause establishes a framework for the periodic adjustment of contract terms, typically related to pricing or compensation, based on external economic indices or cost factors. In practice, this clause may specify that payments are recalculated at set intervals to reflect changes in inflation, labor costs, or material prices, ensuring that the contract remains fair and economically viable for both parties. Its core function is to protect both parties from significant financial risk due to market fluctuations, thereby maintaining the contract's balance over time.
