Overtime on shift work. 23.8.1 For all time worked in excess of or outside the ordinary working hours prescribed by this Award or on a shift other than a rostered shift, a shift worker shall be paid:
Overtime on shift work. (i) For all time worked in excess of or outside the ordinary rostered working hours or on a shift other than a rostered shift shall be paid at a rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Overtime Payment Full-time employees shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half times the employee's straight time hourly rate for all time worked outside of their normal work hours and/or work days up to sixteen (16) hours in a twenty-four (24) hour period. For hours worked in excess of sixteen (16) in a twenty-four (24) hour period, employees shall be paid double time. Employees who receive an unpaid lunch period and are not required to work at their work assignments during such period shall not have such time treated as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.
