Overtime 22 Clause Samples

The "Overtime 22" clause defines the rules and conditions under which employees are compensated for working hours beyond their standard schedule. Typically, this clause specifies the threshold at which overtime pay begins (such as after 40 hours in a workweek) and the rate at which overtime is paid, often at a premium above the regular hourly wage. By clearly outlining overtime eligibility and payment terms, the clause ensures fair compensation for extra work and helps prevent disputes between employers and employees regarding additional hours worked.
