Other derived data Clause Samples

The "Other derived data" clause defines how data that is generated or inferred from original data—such as analytics, summaries, or statistical outputs—is treated under the agreement. This clause typically clarifies whether such derived data is considered the property of the party that created it, and may specify any restrictions or permissions regarding its use, sharing, or commercialization. Its core function is to prevent disputes by clearly allocating rights and responsibilities over data that is not directly provided but is instead produced through processing or analysis of the original data.
