Common use of Options Personal Clause in Contracts

Options Personal. Any right or option to extend the Term or renew this Lease is personal to the original named Tenant and may be exercised only by the original named Tenant while occupying the Premises without the intent of then making an Assignment of this Lease or Subletting of all or any portion of the Premises. No right or option to extend the Term or renew this Lease may be exercised by or assigned, voluntarily or involuntarily, by or to any person or entity other than the original named Tenant. The options, if any, granted to Tenant are not assignable separate and apart from this Lease, and no option may be separated from this Lease in any manner, either by reservation or otherwise.
