Optional Task - Hydraulic Placement Design. If mechanical placement at the disposal site becomes an unacceptable alternative, hydraulic placement will be required. This task will include additional engineering to develop the plans and specifications. These additional engineering tasks include: • Analysis and design of containment berms • Stability analysis of existing levee • PCDDF computer modeling to evaluate desiccation, drying and consolidation characteristics of dredged sediments • Incorporation of hydraulic design aspects into the plans and specifications
