Common use of Option to Defer Interest Payments Clause in Contracts

Option to Defer Interest Payments. (i) The Company shall have the right at any time and from time to time, to defer the payment of interest on the Debentures for one or more consecutive Interest Periods that do not exceed 10 succesive years; provided that no Deferral Period shall extend beyond the earlier of: (A) the Final Maturity Date, (B) the repayment or redemption date of the Debentures, and (C) the date on which the Debentures become due and payable pursuant to Section 502 of the Base Indenture (as amended by Section 2.7(a)(i)). If the Company has paid all deferred interest (including Additional Interest) on the Debentures, the Company shall have the right to elect to begin a new Deferral Period pursuant to this Section 2.5.

Option to Defer Interest Payments. (i) The So long as no Event of Default with respect to the Debentures has occurred or is continuing, the Company shall have the right right, at any time and from time to time, to defer the payment of interest on the Debentures for one or more consecutive Interest Periods that do not exceed 10 succesive years; five years for any single Deferral Period, provided that no Deferral Period shall extend beyond the earlier of: (A) the Final Maturity Date, (B) the repayment any earlier accelerated maturity date arising from an Event of Default or any other earlier redemption date of the Debentures, and (C) the date on which the Debentures become due and payable pursuant to Section 502 of the Base Indenture (as amended by Section 2.7(a)(i)). If the Company has paid all deferred interest (including Additional Interestcompounded interest thereon) on the Debentures, the Company shall have the right to elect to begin a new Deferral Period pursuant to this Section 2.52.06(a).
