Common use of Optimisation algorithm for ASIL Decomposition Clause in Contracts

Optimisation algorithm for ASIL Decomposition. The ASIL allocation and decomposition problem can also be solved as an optimisation process. This differs to architectural optimisation (discussed in section 4) in that the domain is the set of possible ASIL allocations to the basic events (or other elements) of the system, rather than the set of possible architectural configurations in the model. Furthermore, the scope of the evaluation is much more limited since the other factors that count are whether or not an ASIL allocation is valid, i.e., whether or not it meets its requirements, and how ‘expensive’ the allocation is.
