ON INSTRUCTIONS Sample Clauses
The "ON INSTRUCTIONS" clause defines the circumstances under which one party must act according to the directions or instructions of another party. In practice, this clause typically applies to agents, contractors, or service providers who are required to follow the specific guidance or requests of their client or principal during the performance of their duties. For example, a consultant may be obligated to carry out tasks only as directed by the company hiring them. The core function of this clause is to clarify the chain of command and ensure that responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the wishes of the instructing party, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes over authority and decision-making.
