Common use of Official Representatives Clause in Contracts

Official Representatives. 8. The Union may select up to the number of employees as specified in the Employee Relations Ordinance for purposes of meeting and conferring with the City on matters within the scope of representation. If a situation should arise where the Union believes that more than a total of five (5) employee members should be present at such meetings and the City disagrees, the Union shall discuss the matter with the Employee Relations Director and the parties shall attempt to reach agreement as to how many employees shall be authorized to participate in said meetings.
