Off Period. An employee who wilfully terminates his employment as a result of a misunderstandingor argument shall be allowed to return to work and remain employed if he does so within two (2) working days. Should the Employer refuse to allow the employee to return to work, the termination shall be considered as a discharge, effective the date that the employee sought to to and may be grieved as a discharge. The benefit of the cooling off shall only apply once per fiscal year. Recall from a lay-off will be made on the basis of seniority and of work. The Employer shall give notice of recall personally or by registered mail. In this instance, notice of recall is deemed to be given when served.
