OBJECTS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS. 1.01 The objects of this Agreement are to stabilize the construction industry; promote fair and reasonable working conditions and job security for employees in the Industry; promote harmonious employment relationships between Employers and employees; provide a mutually agreed method of resolving disputes and grievances arising out of the terms and conditions of this Agreement; prevent strikes and lock-outs; enable the skills of both Employers and employees to operate to the end that waste and avoidable and unnecessary expense and delays are prevented; promote good public relations. 1.02 The parties agree to do all possible to ensure that in relationships with the general public every effort will be made toward the end that tactful associations are established and maintained, particularly where temporary inconvenience may be caused due to construction in progress.
