OBJECTIVES AND TOOLS. I.1 The aim of this Administrative Arrangement is to establish specific terms and conditions governing a staff exchange and an administrative cooperation programme (hereinafter “programme”) between the European Commission (hereinafter “COM”) and the African Union Commission (hereinafter “AUC”) with a view to improving the mutual knowledge of the respective institutional structures and their functioning, as well as gaining expertise and experience in sectors of common interest. The specific objectives of the Programme are to: - Strengthen the institutional ties between the COM and the AUC; - Develop a culture of dialogue and xxxxxx administrative and operational cooperation between the two Institutions; - Enhance the effectiveness of both the COM and the AUC; - Share expertise and best practices between the COM and the AUC; - Help each other build capacity and develop in areas of mutual interest and benefit.
