Common use of NXP Clause in Contracts

NXP. On ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇, ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and NXP-Jewels Corporation ("NXP") entered into a settlement agreement and mutual general release from the litigation arising between Little Switzerland and NXP with respect to their general obligations under a letter of intent to sell Little Switzerland's Barbados operations to NXP. Little Switzerland, as part of the settlement, agreed to refund a $100,000 deposit currently held in escrow and make a $5,000 settlement payment. Both the $100,000 escrow deposit and the $5,000 settlement payment by Little Switzerland were paid to NXP in March 2001.
