- Notification Required. Employees shall be required to notify their immediate supervisor as soon as possible of any occurrence within the scope of this article which prevents work. If the Employer has provided pre-work shift contact arrangements, employees shall be required to provide such notification no later than one (1) hour before the start of the work shift. If no such arrangements have been made, employees shall be required to provide such notification as soon as possible but in no event later than one-half (½) hour after the start of the shift.
