Common use of Notice of Claim or Suit Clause in Contracts

Notice of Claim or Suit. Tenant agrees to promptly notify Landlord of any known claim, action, proceeding or suit instituted or threatened against the Landlord. In the event Landlord is made a party to any action for damages which Tenant has herewith indemnified Landlord against, then Tenant shall pay all costs and shall provide counsel in such litigation or shall pay, at Landlord's option, the reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred in connection with said litigation by Landlord.
