Normal Work Year. 1. The normal academic work year for Faculty will be 174 days. Six (6) paid holidays are included in the paid days for each contract year. 2. Paid holidays shall include Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day plus the following Friday, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇. Day, Presidents’ Day, and Memorial Day. 3. Two days will be designated prior to the start of fall term and one day prior to winter term for the sole purpose of classroom preparation. 4. At least 10 days before adoption, a draft of the College’s master calendar will be developed and circulated to employees for input prior to final adoption.
