Non-Promotional Classifications. 1. Firefighter/Paramedics a. The Fire Chief shall determine the number of required Firefighter/Paramedics. 1) The Chief of the Department or their designated representative shall select qualified employees as Firefighter/Paramedics. Minimum standards of licensure shall be established by the State of Wisconsin. 2) The City retains the right to assign such employees in the best interest of the Department.
