Non-Duplication of Benefit Clause Samples
The Non-Duplication of Benefit clause ensures that a party does not receive compensation or benefits more than once for the same loss or event. In practice, this means that if an insured party is eligible for reimbursement from multiple sources, such as different insurance policies or indemnities, the total amount received cannot exceed the actual loss incurred. This clause prevents overcompensation and double recovery, thereby maintaining fairness and controlling costs for all parties involved.
