Non-Destructive Clause Samples

The Non-Destructive clause ensures that any actions taken under the agreement do not cause harm or permanent alteration to the property or materials involved. In practice, this means that parties must use methods or equipment that preserve the original condition of the subject matter, such as using non-invasive testing techniques or avoiding physical modifications. The core function of this clause is to protect valuable assets from damage, thereby minimizing risk and preserving their integrity throughout the duration of the agreement.

Non-Destructive. Testing (NDT) At least NDT- Level II qualified personnel shall be used for NDT testing of the Buyer's compo- nents (s. qualification standards EN 4179, ISO 9712, NAS410 or equivalent). NDT- Level I inspectors are only permitted with the written consent of the buyer.
Non-Destructive. Test Technician Comprises those employees who carry out and certify: liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current and ultrasonic inspections in accordance with standards and who are qualified and hold the appropriate licenses to carry-out and certify such work, including holding the applicable certificates. At locations where equipped, employees will also carry-out and certify radiographic inspections.
