NON-CONTAMINATION Sample Clauses
The NON-CONTAMINATION clause is designed to prevent the introduction or spread of hazardous substances or pollutants during the performance of a contract. It typically requires parties to take necessary precautions to avoid contaminating the environment, property, or materials involved in the project, such as ensuring proper handling and disposal of chemicals or waste. This clause serves to protect both parties from liability related to environmental damage and ensures compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations.
NON-CONTAMINATION. In order to avoid any unnecessary contamination, which is of importance to both Parties, the Parties agree that:
(i) prior to any disclosure and/or meeting the Parties will prepare, share and agree a clear agenda setting out the topics that each Party wants to discuss including a high level description of the information a Party wishes to share and/or receive within the scope of this Agreement which the other Party may refuse to receive or share, as appropriate, where this would lead to unwanted contamination; and
(ii) after each meeting minutes should be circulated and agreed by both Parties to ensure each Party understands what has been captured under confidentiality within the scope of this Agreement and what has been rejected due to contamination concerns.
