Natural Hazard Expert. Buyer and Seller acknowledge that Seller is required to disclose if any portion of the Property lies within a natural hazard area or zone. Buyer and Seller agree that Seller may employ the services of Escrow Holder, a company recommended by Escrow Holder, or an affiliate of Escrow Holder (as so employed, the “Natural Hazard Expert”) to examine the maps and other information specifically made available to the public by government agencies for the purposes of enabling Seller to fulfill its disclosure obligations with respect to the natural hazards referred to above and to report the results of its examination to Buyer and Seller in writing. Prior to the Effective Date, Seller, at its sole cost and expense, provided Buyer with a Natural Hazard Disclosure Statement prepared by a Natural Hazard Expert.
