MWac. The electric generating units utilized as generation assets as part of the Project are described below: The project will utilize photovoltaic modules to convert the energy from sunlight directly into electricity. Photovoltaic modules will be wired together to form photovoltaic arrays. The direct current generated by the arrays will be collected at an inverter where the direct current will be converted to alternating current consistent with the electrical grid. The output from the inverter or group of inverters will then flow through a step-up transformer to increase the voltage for collection. The medium voltage collection system will gather all of the electricity at a common location where the voltage will be stepped up again before final interconnection with the electrical grid.
MWac. The electric generating units utilized as generation assets as part of the Project are described below: The project will utilize concentrating photovoltaic modules mounted on dual-axis trackers to convert the energy from sunlight directly into electricity. Concentrating photovoltaic modules will be wired together to form photovoltaic arrays. The direct current generated by the arrays will be collected at an inverter where the direct current will be converted to alternating current consistent with the electrical grid. The output from the inverter or group of inverters will then flow through a step-up transformer to increase the voltage for collection.
