MULTIPLE BIRTHS Sample Clauses

The MULTIPLE BIRTHS clause defines how contractual obligations or benefits are handled in the event of the birth of more than one child from a single pregnancy, such as twins or triplets. Typically, this clause clarifies whether payments, services, or responsibilities are multiplied, capped, or otherwise adjusted when multiple children are born at once. Its core function is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes by specifying how the contract applies to situations involving multiple births, thereby allocating risk and expectations between the parties.
