Common use of Multi-VISN Clause in Contracts

Multi-VISN. Authority at the Level II warrant and Level III (Senior Limited) warrant levels, granted by the DSPE, that permits procurement con- solidations among Veterans Health Ad- ministration VISNs, Veterans Benefits Administration Area Offices, and other Government agencies that exist out- side the contracting officer’s normally assigned geographical area of ap- pointed authority. Multi-VISN author- ity is generally granted to contracting officers for procurement-specific re- quirements or to contracting officers who are members of groups or consor- tiums established for regional con- tracting initiatives.
