Movement from the Unit. If a member transfers to a position outside the bargaining unit without a break in service, the rules or contract provisions that apply to the position to which they transfer will apply. If the member transfers to a bargaining unit that has a maximum accrual of annual leave, he/she shall be credited up to the maximum annual leave allowed in his/her new position by virtue of transfer of personal leave earnings. Any leave remaining after the transfer of the maximum allowed shall be paid to the member.
Movement from the Unit. If a member transfers to a position outside the bargaining unit without a break in service, his/her personal leave shall be credited to his/her annual or personal leave account and banked sick leave shall be credited to his/her sick leave account in the new position. If the member transfers to a bargaining unit which has a maximum accrual of annual or personal leave, he/she shall be credited up to the maximum annual or personal leave allowed in his/her new position by virtue of transfer of annual earnings. Any leave remaining after the transfer of the maximum allowed shall be paid to the member.
