Driver will follow the route as stated unless she/he deems it necessary to change the route due to traffic or construction. In the case of inclement weather, Lauralton Hall shall determine when school shall be in session, when the opening of school shall be delayed, and when early dismissal shall take place, and bus transportation will be provided in accordance with such determination. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation to/from the pick-up/drop off points. The bus must adhere to a schedule and will not wait for tardy students or parents who are “on the way”. Students are not to run to the bus from parked or standing cars – safety of the riders and pedestrians is paramount. Students must be cautious in the parking lots. No texting while walking to/from the bus. DISCIPLINE: Standing or loud, disruptive or other unacceptable behavior on the bus is not allowed. Lauralton Hall is responsible for enforcement of discipline and security on the bus as stated in the Lauralton Hall Student/Parent Handbook of Standards and Expectations and reserves the right to refuse transportation to any student who is disruptive or creates an unsafe condition for others.
