The MOPPING clause establishes the responsibilities and standards for cleaning floors within a specified area, typically in a commercial or residential property context. MOPPING. Mop all floors (entry ways, hallways, classrooms, offices, parent rooms, restrooms, etc.) Change mop water when half-way done. Mop all door thresholds. Vacuum Carpets Remove play dough prior to vacuuming. Vacuum air vents. Spot clean windows. Wipe down window ledges. Clean inside and outside of glass on all doors. Spot clean walls daily including walls surrounding garbage cans. Remove paint and fingerprints from walls. TRIANNUAL SCOPE OF WORK (3 times per year)
MOPPING. Prior to mopping, the floor shall be swept, as indicated above (1.) Begin mopping each room with fresh, clean water, and change as necessary. Upon completion of mopping and scrubbing, the floors shall be clean and free of dirt, water streaks, rust, stains, mop marks, string, etc. Dirt will not be left in corners, under furniture, or behind doors. Entrances and other assigned areas will be swept clean of all dirt/trash. Dirt shall not be left where sweepings were picked up. There shall be no dirt, trash or foreign matter under desks, tables or chairs.
MOPPING. 1. USE A MICROFIBER PAD; ONE PER ROOM, TO CLEAN ALL AREAS AND ROOMS IN PATIENT-CARE FACILITIES TO PREVENT TRANSMISSION OF BACTERIA, VIRUSES, ETC. AND REDUCE THE SPREAD OF INFECTION.
MOPPING a. May be classified as either damp or wet, depending upon the amount of water used for the purpose.
b. Will be required a minimum of once weekly, unless there is obvious traction of debris into the facilities that cannot be removed by sweeping.
c. Washrooms will require mopping daily.
MOPPING. 1. THE PROCESS OF REMOVING ADHERED SOIL FROM HARD FLOORS.
2. THE ENTIRE FLOOR SURFACE, INCLUDING IN CORNERS AND AROUND WALL PROJECTIONS, WILL BE CLEAN AND FREE OF ALL SOIL, STREAKS, FOOTPRINTS, AND SPOTS.
