Monitoring and Knowledge Sharing. The FAO Representation, the Lead Technical Unit of the project at FAO HQs, in cooperation with FBD shall be the focal point for monitoring project performance and assisting in meeting its implementation requirements. The Management Support Unit (MSU) of the regional Office of FAO in Accra will continue to monitor expenditure and procurement and assist in contractual services and other needs of the project according to the document entitled ‘Special Operational Procedures for the Unilateral Trust Programme in Tanzania’. Under the NFP and the NBKP, the MNRT has put in place a monitoring, coordination and communication system in the form of a multidisciplinary Steering Committee (SC) (see box 1 and figure 3), that meets periodically every three months or more frequently when needed. The SC is composed of wide range of stakeholders including development partners (donors and FAO). This existing SC will therefore monitor the NAFORMA and will work to insure broad awareness about the project and will act to xxxxxx the sharing of the generated knowledge. The importance of the SC that crosscuts different sectors is indisputable for the project as it makes it known to all relevant institutions and maximises the benefits of the generated information to all users.

Monitoring and Knowledge Sharing. The Project Steering Committee will meet twice a year and also as necessary and will monitor progress against the objectives, activities, outputs and performance indicators as outlined in the Logframe. As appropriate, corrective measures will be taken to address any problems with the implementation progress. The STDF Working Group may decide to carry out a final ex post evaluation of the project against its objectives.

Under ENRMMP, CPs and the Government of the Republic of Zambia have put in place a monitoring, coordination and communication system in the form of a Joint Steering Committee (JSC) that meets periodically twice a year or more frequently when needed. The main responsibility of the project relies on NPC who assures the continuous monitoring of the project and the reporting to the Programme Management Committee through the Director of Forestry. On matters related to national and strategic implementation issues requiring intersectoral cooperation the Director of Forestry through the Programme Management Committee will report to the JSC. FAO will channel its inputs to the project through the FD. The flow of information and reports on the project progress will go from FD to FAO and vice- versa. The Chief Technical Advisor, who will be assigned to the project on permanent basis, will monitor the technical aspects of the project implementation. Furthermore, FAO with FD will ensure the joint monitoring of the project on yearly basis through visits by its technical backstopping personnel from the Headquarters and the Sub-Regional Office. Vis-à-vis JSC, NPC will be the responsible of direct monitoring of the project and of reporting on its progress, achievements and constraints. NPC will also interact with the Project Task Force on more frequent basis on the running of the project. NPC will receive information on the progress of the project from the different national and international experts and consultants serving within PMU. In the monitoring of the project and reporting on its progress, NPC will be assisted by CTA. The Project Task Force works as arena for connection experts from various stakeholders, giving recommendations to the project, and distributing good practices and information into participating organizations.

  • Knowledge Management Collecting and processing data from multiple sources and generating information to support business requirements (e.g., information retrieval, information mapping/taxonomy, information sharing, categorization, knowledge engineering, knowledge capture/distribution/delivery, smart documents).

  • TECHNOLOGY/KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ACTIVITIES The goal of this task is to develop a plan to make the knowledge gained, experimental results, and lessons learned available to the public and key decision makers. The Recipient shall: • Prepare an Initial Fact Sheet at start of the project that describes the project. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Final Project Fact Sheet at the project’s conclusion that discusses results. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan that includes: o An explanation of how the knowledge gained from the project will be made available to the public, including the targeted market sector and potential outreach to end users, utilities, regulatory agencies, and others.

  • Education and Specialized Knowledge Preferably secondary school graduation; a good working knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations; a good knowledge of safety rules and regulations as they pertain to the driving and/or operation of the vehicles, equipment and machinery involved; preferably graduation from a defensive driving course and/or a recognized training program in the driving and operation of commercial type vehicle or heavy equipment.

  • Internal Investigations (A) The parties recognize that Florida Highway Patrol personnel occupy a special place in American society. Therefore, it is understood that the state has the right to expect that a professional standard of conduct be adhered to by all Florida Highway Patrol personnel regardless of rank or assignment. Since internal investigations may be undertaken to inquire into complaints of Florida Highway Patrol misconduct, the state reserves the right to conduct such investigations to uncover the facts in each case, but expressly agrees to carefully guard and protect the rights and dignity of accused personnel. In the course of an internal investigation, the investigative methods employed will be consistent with the law (including but not limited to section 112.532, Florida Statutes) and this agreement; nothing in this agreement, however, shall be deemed to diminish the rights of employees under applicable law.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The aims of cooperation in Information Technologies sectors, carried out in the mutual interest of the Parties and in compliance with their policies, will be: (a) to focus on cooperative activities towards information technology areas where mutual and complementary interests exists; and (b) to build on existing agreements and arrangements already in place between the Parties. 2.   • Violence Policies and Procedures The Employer agrees to have in place explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, provision of legal counsel and support to employees who have faced violence. The policies and procedures shall be part of the employee's health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee. Prior to implementing any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Association.
