Common use of Modification or Assignment of Lease Clause in Contracts

Modification or Assignment of Lease. It is specifically agreed and understood that the terms, covenants and conditions of the Lease may be altered, affected, modified, amended, compromised, released, or otherwise changed by agreement between Landlord and Tenant, and Guarantor does guaranty and promise to pay all of the Guaranteed Obligations of Tenant under the Lease as so altered, affected, modified, amended, compromised, released, or changed, and that the Lease may be assigned by or with the consent of Landlord or any assignee of Landlord without consent of Guarantor, and that this Guaranty shall thereupon and thereafter guaranty the performance of the Guaranteed Obligations as so changed, modified, amended, compromised, released, altered or assigned.
