Model Verification Clause Samples
Model Verification. Seller shall work with the Company to validate the new Required Models developed by or on behalf of Company within sixty (60) Days of receiving such new Required Models. Seller shall also arrange for and ensure that Company may obtain new Required Models directly from the Source Code Owner in the event that Seller ceases to operate as a going concern or is subject to voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy and is unable or unwilling to obtain the new Required Models from the Source Code Owner.
Model Verification. The best performing models from the comprehensive modeling process (those with the highest R2 values) were selected and investigated further. Models with collinearity among the predictor variables were removed from consideration. Often, multiple models have similar performance, so the logic for choosing one comes down to factors such as explainability and implementability. A simpler model, one with fewer predictor variables or fewer interaction terms, is often easier to understand and explain, and easier to use. It might be better to choose a model because it is easier to explain and use even if it performs slightly less well (i.e. no practical difference). Models that tend to tie to tree physiology and simple parameters are easy to characterize and interpret. The remaining model with the highest R2 value was then examined looking for non-significant coefficients. If interaction terms were non-significant, they were removed. The model was plotted, again looking for undesirable behavior, for example, significant trending captured by sloping in the residuals.
Model Verification. Supplier shall work with the Company to validate the new Source Code developed by or on behalf of Company within sixty (60) Days of receiving such new Source Code. Supplier shall also arrange for and ensure that Company may obtain new Source Code directly from the Source Code Owner in the event that Supplier ceases to operate as a going concern or is subject to voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy and is unable or unwilling to obtain the new Source Code from the Source Code Owner.
Model Verification. The Preliminary Design will be verified through a model simulation to show that the proposed improvements will work without causing any complications elsewhere in the system. We will prepare an opinion of probable cost opinion for the proposed improvements based on the major infrastructure components, construction schedule, traffic control, sequencing requirements, and basis of design.
