Model-checking Gateway. The newly developed language package Behavior Constraint Description Annex provides a formal semantics (i.e. Hybrid-System Model) for behavior annotations in EAST-ADL, such as requirement refinement, design contract specification, and the definition of error logics. Due to this formal semantics, model-checking through some tools (e.g. SPIN, UPPAAL, and Matlab/Simulink) becomes possible.
