Mobilization Fee. In addition to Operator’s obligation to pay the Standby Rate in accordance with Paragraph 705 and to supply Operator’s Items, Operator shall pay Contractor a Mobilization Fee as specified in Appendix A which shall be earned on the date the Drilling Unit departs for the Operating Area.

To the extent that the Mobilization Fee exceeds the Compensation owed for the first month, EPCM’s second month invoice shall reflect the amount of the difference as a credit owed to Owner on the second month invoice. If the Compensation owed for the first month exceeds the amount of the Mobilization Fee, EPCM shall include the amount of the difference in the second month invoice as an additional charge to Owner.
