Minimum Term Service. In consideration of the investment the University has made in the Canine Officer's training and any improvements to the officer's private real estate, an assigned Canine Officer agrees to continue as the University's Canine Officer for a minimum term of five (5) years unless the University agrees to waive that requirement or determines that the Canine Officer is not fit to continue in that capacity. Although the University will not ask an assigned Canine Officer to waive the officer's rights to test for any promotional opportunities for which the officer might qualify, it is agreed that an assigned Canine Officer will not continue to serve as Canine Officer should the officer be promoted during the term of the officer's five (5) year agreement unless the university, in its sole discretion, allows the Canine Officer to continue.

Minimum Term Service. During the Initial Term, Customer shall not be required to commit to any overall minimum revenue requirement; however, Customer will be subject to a one year commitment per order for DS-3 Network Access Service, Metro Private Line, US Private Line SONET, Global Data Link, Internet Dedicated Ethernet, Internet Dedicated – Fast Ethernet Port Only and Internet DSL and Internet Cable service purchased under the Agreement (each a “Minimum Term Service”). If the Agreement terminates before the end of the one-year term commitment for a Minimum Term Service, the terms relating to that Minimum Term Service, including the General Terms and Conditions, continue in full force and effect until the end of the one-year commitment. Notwithstanding the above, Customer will commit to a three year minimum service term for Private IP Service commencing on the 2nd Amendment Effective Date and if the Agreement terminates before the end of the PIP Minimum Service Term, the terms of the Agreement will continue in full force and effect until the end of the PIP Minimum Service Term. Commencing on the 2nd Amendment Effective Date, the Initial Term shall being anew and continue for 36 months. Minimum Annual Volume Commitment (“AVC”): There is no minimum revenue commitment associated with the Agreement. For purposes of calculating credits, if any, “Total Service Charges” means all charges, after application of all discounts and credits, for the Services, excluding Taxes, Governmental Charges, equipment, Company ILEC, Company Wireless, Document Delivery Fax, non-recurring, goods and services acquired by Company as Customer’s agent, international pass-through access (Type 3/PTT), charges for security services provided by a Cybertrust Security Service Provider listed and the Guide, and other charges expressly excluded by the Agreement.   • Service Period The Service Period of this Agreement is for 1 year in respect of the unit and starts on the Start Date as defined in the Terms and Conditions, or, in the case of an extension of renewal of the provision of Support Services, starts on the date of payment of the Charges.

  • Long Term Occasional Teachers or teachers hired in term positions, shall be eligible for the SEB as described herein for a maximum of eight (8) weeks with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment. Teachers on daily casual assignments are not entitled to the benefits outlined in this article.

  • Long Term Leave Unpaid long-term leaves for personal reasons, in excess of ten (10) days, may be granted.

  • License Period The license granted hereunder shall be effective and terminate as of the dates specified in Schedule D attached hereto, unless sooner terminated or renewed in accordance with the terms and conditions hereof.

  • Service Term XOOM agrees to act as your exclusive natural gas supplier and will provide competitive retail natural gas service to you. The term of this Contract will begin when your local utility switches your account to XOOM and will continue on a month-to-month basis as set forth in the accompanying Product Sheet.

  • Trial Service Period 1. Except for those employees in an in-training appointment, all other employees with permanent status who are promoted, or who voluntarily accept a transfer or demotion into a job classification for which they have not previously attained permanent status, will serve a trial service period of six (6) consecutive months. The Employer may extend the trial service period to no more than twelve (12) consecutive months, provided the employee is given written, performance based reasons for the extension. The Employer agrees to notify the employee when it intends to extend the trial service period beyond six (6) months. The employee may choose to notify the union.

  • Initial Term Loan The Borrower shall give the Administrative Agent an irrevocable Notice of Borrowing prior to 11:00 a.m. on the Closing Date requesting that the Term Loan Lenders make the Initial Term Loan as a Base Rate Loan on such date (provided that the Borrower may request, no later than three (3) Business Days prior to the Closing Date, that the Lenders make the Initial Term Loan as a LIBOR Rate Loan if the Borrower has delivered to the Administrative Agent a letter in form and substance reasonably satisfactory to the Administrative Agent indemnifying the Lenders in the manner set forth in Section 5.9 of this Agreement). Upon receipt of such Notice of Borrowing from the Borrower, the Administrative Agent shall promptly notify each Term Loan Lender thereof. Not later than 1:00 p.m. on the Closing Date, each Term Loan Lender will make available to the Administrative Agent for the account of the Borrower, at the Administrative Agent’s Office in immediately available funds, the amount of such Initial Term Loan to be made by such Term Loan Lender on the Closing Date. The Borrower hereby irrevocably authorizes the Administrative Agent to disburse the proceeds of the Initial Term Loan in immediately available funds by wire transfer to such Person or Persons as may be designated by the Borrower in writing.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein. The term of this Contract (“Term”) shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on the first to occur of the following: (1) the Deadline, as the same may have been extended by the Authority, (2) the date on which, in the opinion of Authority, all of the Services have been rendered, (3) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Authority pursuant to Section 14, or (4) the date on which this Contract is terminated by the Consultant pursuant to Section 14.

  • CONTRACT TERM - RENEWAL In addition to any stated renewal periods in the Contract, any Contract or unit portion thereof let by the Commissioner may be extended by the Commissioner for an additional period(s) of up to one year with the written concurrence of the Contractor and Comptroller. Such extension may be exercised on a month-to-month basis or in other stated periods of time during the one year extension.
