Common use of Minimum Material Specifications Clause in Contracts

Minimum Material Specifications. 11.1 Licensee shall provide advertisement media / panels / fixtures conforming to international standards of high quality advertising comparable to Airports and Metro of leading nations. Advertisement panels shall be provided by Licensee conforming to the following minimum specifications or its equivalent: a) Frame work –SS 304 b) Backing sheet of G.I. c) Internal cables of Fire Retardant Low Smoke type (FRLS) for Elevated & (FRLSZH) for U/G as specified in Electrical Procedure Order. d) TL tubes for back lighting/illumination with electronic ballast. e) For U/G stations of phase-III, Advertisement panels shall be backlit with LED f) Polycarbonate sheet as cover of GE make or equivalent. g) Advertising media to be made from Fire Retardant, Low Smoke & Zero Halogen material. h) For elevated stations frame finishes of Aluminum is also permissible. i) In order to have energy conservation, LED or any other energy saving devices confirming to BEE standards should be used at the advertisement sites. For existing sites, the conservation of energy saving devices may also be carried out. 11.2 The advertising media should be of fire retardant, low smoke and comply with all Indian and International Standards. 11.3 Advertisement spaces on Delhi Metro stations are hereby provided to Licensee on “as is where is basis”. Licensee may utilize existing prefabricated panels, if any, for the purpose of advertisement after due refurbishment for due compliance of above specifications. However, if Licensee does not intend to utilize such existing prefabricated panels for advertisements, such prefabricated panels shall be disposed-off by Licensee at its own cost out of DMRC premises. DMRC shall not have any claim with regard to such disposal. 11.4 The existing panels/cut-outs in underground stations shall be re-furbished by the licensee as per DMRC’s specifications at its own cost and shall be available for utilization by Licensee for commercial advertisements. However, the un-utilized panels in underground stations may be used by DMRC for its own non-commercial messages and shall be immediately vacated by DMRC, if required by Licensee. 11.5 Licensee shall ensure that all the installed advertisement panels are fully engaged by proper advertisement media or any other proper creative to improve the ambience of the station. If advertisement is not available for any panel, the same should be utilized to display a message of Licensee or DMRC. At no stage, any installed advertisement panels shall be left unattended.

Licensee may utilize existing prefabricated panels, if any, for the purpose of advertisement after due refurbishment for due compliance of above specifications. However, if Licensee does not intend various works to utilize such existing prefabricated panels for advertisements, such prefabricated panels shall be disposed-off by Licensee at its own cost out of DMRC premises. DMRC shall not have any claim with regard to such disposalundertaken. 11.4 7.1.4. Fire-fighting and other infrastructure so created pertaining to the co-branding and advertisement spaces must be integrated with the infrastructure already provided /planned for the respective ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ by Maha-Metro. 7.1.5. The existing panels/cut-outs in underground stations Licensee shall be re-furbished by at all times adhere to all provisions of the licensee as per DMRC’s specifications at its own cost Metro Railway (Operation And Maintenance) Act, 2002 and amendments thereto and shall be available for utilization also comply with all notices and circulars issued by Licensee for commercial advertisements. However, the unMaha-utilized panels Metro in underground stations may be used by DMRC for its own non-commercial messages and shall be immediately vacated by DMRC, if required by Licenseethis regard. 11.5 Licensee shall ensure that all the installed advertisement panels are fully engaged by proper advertisement media or any other proper creative to improve the ambience of the station. DMRC decision on this regard shall not have any claim with regard to such disposalbe final. 11.4 The existing panels/cut-outs in underground stations shall be re-furbished by the licensee as per DMRC’s specifications at its own cost and shall be available for utilization by Licensee for commercial advertisements. However, the un-utilized panels in underground stations may be used by DMRC for its own non-commercial messages and shall may be immediately subsequently vacated by DMRC, if required by LicenseeLicensee with mutual consent. 11.5 Licensee shall ensure that all the installed advertisement panels are fully engaged by proper advertisement media or any other proper creative to improve the ambience of the station. If advertisement is not available for any panel, the same should be utilized to display a message of Licensee or DMRC. At no stage, any installed advertisement panels shall be left unattendedunattended or bank.
