Middle School Teachers. Five (5) work days without students for returning middle school teachers to be used as three (3) non-student attendance days, one (1) each at the end of the first quarter, first semester and third quarter, plus two (2) days prior to the opening of schools.
Middle School Teachers. Under normal circumstances, full-time special education teachers shall receive planning time of at least four hundred (400) minutes per week for preparation and other instructional responsibilities when it is feasible and appropriate. The funds shall be apportioned to each classroom teacher (including SDC and Inclusion) by dividing the amount on an equitable basis. The apportionment allotted for Resource Specialist Program (RSP) teachers, Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Visually Impaired (VI) teachers, Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) teachers, Adaptive Physical Education (APE) teachers, and School Psychologists is addressed in Article VII, Section G. Allotments shall not carry over into the following academic school year.
