Microsoft Products Clause Samples
The "Microsoft Products" clause defines the scope and terms under which Microsoft software, services, or related products are provided within an agreement. It typically outlines what constitutes a Microsoft Product, such as software licenses, cloud services, or hardware, and may specify usage rights, restrictions, and support provisions. This clause ensures both parties clearly understand which Microsoft offerings are covered, how they may be used, and any limitations, thereby reducing ambiguity and helping to manage compliance and risk associated with the use of Microsoft technologies.
Microsoft Products. Non-Microsoft Products are provided under separate terms by the Publishers of such products. Customer will have an opportunity to review those terms prior to placing an order for a Non-Microsoft Product through a Microsoft online store or Online Service. Microsoft is not a party to the terms between Customer and the Publisher. Microsoft may provide Customer’s contact information and transaction details to the Publisher. Microsoft makes no warranties and assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for Non- Microsoft Products. Customer is solely responsible and liable for its use of any Non-Microsoft Product.

Microsoft Products. The DoE's enterprise agreement with Microsoft allows students to download and install the full suite of Microsoft Office applications for use on their personal BYOD devices. These complete applications complement the provision of access to Microsoft Office 365 or "Office in the Cloud" which is also available. The Office 365 software and associated mobile apps can be used on a limited number of devices owned or used by students of the DEC at no charge: In order to broaden students’ educational context, provide greater access to e-learning tools and promote greater collaboration in learning, Belair School has decided to allow students to bring a laptop/notebook for use at school. This program will increase the access to technology of all students as those without their own device will have greater access to school devices. To participate in this program, students and parents must thoroughly understand and agree to the conditions outlined above. Please read through the policy outlined above carefully with your child before signing and returning the agreement to their class teacher. Once this is signed and returned to the class teacher the student can bring their device to school.
Microsoft Products. It is the parties’ intention that Microsoft will deliver the Services, Additional Services and Other Services as contemplated by the Agreement such that Yahoo! and its Affiliates are not required to buy specific Microsoft products (including database software, replication software, reporting, and data access software) as opposed to having the ability to use products of other vendors. If, however, in order for Yahoo! to receive the full benefits of this Agreement, such Microsoft products (other than Microsoft’s generally available office productivity products for personal computers such as Microsoft Office or Windows 7) are required and Microsoft is unwilling to waive the fees for such Microsoft products or reimburse the licensing fees for such Microsoft products purchased from third parties, then the parties may escalate the matter to the Executive Steering Committee.
Microsoft Products. The virtual machine image in which the software is deployed uses the Microsoft products or services listed in Exhibit A (“Microsoft Products”). Microsoft Products. Unless otherwise noted in a separate agreement, Previews are not included in the SLA for the corresponding Online Service. Providing “Feedback”(suggestions, comments, feedback, ideas, or know-how, in any form) to Microsoft about Preview services is voluntary. Microsoft is under no obligation to post or use any Feedback. By providing Feedback to Microsoft, Customer (and anyone providing Feedback through Customer) irrevocably and perpetually grant to Microsoft and its Affiliates, under all of its (and their) owned or controlled intellectual property rights, a worldwide, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, royalty- free, transferable, sub-licensable right and license to make, use, reproduce, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transmit, and otherwise commercialize the Feedback (including by combining or interfacing products, services or technologies that depend on or incorporate Feedback with other products, services or technologies of Microsoft or others), without attribution in any way and for any purpose. Customer warrants that 1) it will not provide Feedback that is subject to a license requiring Microsoft to license anything to third parties because Microsoft exercises any of the above rights in Customer’s Feedback; and 2) it owns or otherwise controls all of the rights to such Feedback and that no such Feedback is subject to any third-party rights (including any personality or publicity rights). As described in ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/en-us/azure/active-directory/fundamentals/active- directory-whatis, most Online Services include an instance of Azure Active Directory, a cloud-based user authentication capability (“Azure AD Free”). After Customer configures and uses the first such Online Service, that instance of Azure AD Free, as configured by Customer for its users, may power the user authentication features for each later-acquired subscription of an Online Service. Customer’s instance of Azure AD Free will also enable authenticated users to interact with Microsoft or a third party in contexts outside of the Online Services (“Other AD-dependent Services”), specifically where Microsoft or that third party requires an Azure Active Directory user account. With respect to the operation of Azure AD Free for Other AD-dependent Services, Microsoft remains a data processor, and this use of Azure AD Free constitutes Customer’s authoritative instruction to Microsoft that such use is permitted.
