MESSAGING SYSTEMS. 7.1. [Optional] Aircraft must be equipped with a device that provides for the transmission of short text messages, of up to 200 characters, to and from an interface unit with a visual display in the Aircraft, utilising the same communications system as the AFAMS tracking device required at clause 5 of this Schedule (above).
MESSAGING SYSTEMS. Messaging equipment is not required for this contract for Call When Needed Services.
