MERCURY CONTENT AND PREFERENCE Sample Clauses

The "Mercury Content and Preference" clause establishes requirements or limitations regarding the presence of mercury in products or materials covered by the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies acceptable mercury content levels, mandates compliance with relevant environmental regulations, or expresses a preference for mercury-free alternatives. For example, it may require suppliers to certify that their products do not exceed certain mercury thresholds or to prioritize the use of components that are free from mercury. The core function of this clause is to ensure environmental safety, regulatory compliance, and to minimize the risks associated with mercury exposure in supplied goods.
